There are mutliple strains of HPV..some can cause cancer..some are more begnign..you should hold the doctor do a Pap smear on you and they can diagnose and talk with you around the type of HPV you may have..what is sad is that you can enjoy HPV and not know it without being tested...it doens't appear as a discharge or agony..
