Statistically, 80% of those will have HPV in their lifetime and most of them will never know. It is an incredible epidemic. Currently, nearby is no test for men in determining whether or not they hold HPV. I had 1 of the 4 types of HPV that cause cancer. (There are TONS of strains of HPV but individual 4 cause cancer.) I had chryotherapy done (freezing of the cervix) to rid of the phenomenal cells and so far I have have 3 normal paps. These procedures are like a see start to your immune system so they can regulate the disease and fight it. If it is caught in time, it will remain dormant surrounded by your body, and with regular paps there should never be another problem. Your friend REALLY desires to get a pap done - and make sure she keep up on it every year.
Just because she has no warts doesnt denote its gone. She would have to go and acquire a pap smear and have them check for hpv. If it comes back positive after its still in her body. There are so many different types of hpv out at hand, and some people never get symptoms. Sometimes it can embezzle up to 3 months to get any symptoms. I had it for resembling 2 years and finally just got another pap close to a few months ago and the test came stern negative so i was so in good spirits, and i never got warts or anything the together time. So i hope its not in my body anymore i hope i fought it off. You can also enjoy hpv and it can be dormant in your body and not even show up on a hpv test so its tricky. Just brand sure she gets a pap EVERY YEAR!! Hpv leads to cervical cancer. Good luck! P.S. Tell her to use condoms!!
for most people, HPV doesn't even own symptoms, most people have no clue they own it, especially in men since they dont go to gyno's approaching women or get tested as often as women do
This friend of a friend must have been diagnosed via an abnromal pap smear and elevated risk HPV testing.
Not having wart doesn't mean that her visus is gone. Most men and women do build a natural imperviousness to the virus in a couple of years...the virus is then surrounded by a low viral load...and is probably not as easily transmitted...but the virus lives within the skin cells tissues i.e warts or the linning of the cervix as beside cervical HPV. There is no cure for the virus...the immune system keeps the virus in check cause no problems or abnromal cell changes.
Most men do not show signs or symstom of high risk HPV types....masses men and women that carry one or more of the 30+ HPV types and never show signs or symptoms.
Low risk HPV types 6 and 11 are the cause of 90% of perceptible genital warts.
Some strains of HPV rationale warts. Some strains of HPV cause cervical cell change. So someone might have HPV and never have wart. Some may not even have an abnormal pap or dysplasia, if they're lucky. That doesn't suggest the virus is gone.
